Below is a list of suggested activities that you may want to help your child with throughout the day to keep their routine as normal as possible.
Check the website each week for links to new websites and new activities.
Please feel free to stray from this list and take part in many other valuable activities such as playing in the garden, going for walks, singing, dancing, baking, painting etc
Daily phonics sessions by qualified Read Write Inc. trainers. Follow the links to see the daily videos.
· Children in Foundation should watch the set 1 Sounds and then set 2 sounds if they know all the sounds in set 1.
· In Year 1 children should know most set 2 sounds and be able to recap these before moving on to set 3.
· Children in year 2 that are still taking part in daily Read Write Inc. sessions should watch the set 3 sounds video.
· Below are links to websites that you can access freely so that children can play daily phonics games.
If you have lots of books at home, choose a different book each day to read together and talk about.
