A meeting will be held at school on Thursday 15th January 2015 at 6.00pm to inform you how Maltby Redwood Academy are assessing children in year’s 1, 3, 4 and 5, following the removal of ‘standard levels’ last year. Children in year’s 2 and 6 are still using the old levels, but will move to the new system eventually.

The system we have adopted is the ‘Sheffield STAT’. During the meeting we will explain the process of assessment and how children are deemed to be at a particular stage in their attainment. Progress will also be discussed, how it is monitored and measured so you are fully informed of the new process.
