It was NSPCC number day on Friday! The children enjoyed a wonderful morning full of maths games and activities. It was lovely to have parents come in to work with their children and help promote the love of maths and support the NSPCC. 
The children have been making good use of our newly refurbished Atrium! 👩🏫📓🖊
On Friday Saplings class visited the Deep. This was their very first school trip and we couldn't be more proud of them. Their behaviour and manners were outstanding! The children enjoyed exploring the aquarium and seeing all the different sea creatures. It was a fantastic day! 🐡🐠🦈🦀
For the last 2 weeks the Y2 class room has been home to some new fluffy friends! It has been fascinating watching them hatch, grow and develop, and the children have loved spending time with them. Yesterday was sadly their last day with us but it has been a truly amazing experience having them here. 
Well done to our school choir who participated in the Young Voices Concert at Sheffield Arena last week. The day was amazing and a truly exceptional experience. The children represented Maltby Redwood so well and their behaviour was outstanding. We are so proud of them!
This morning the Student Councillor's from Years 1,2 and 3 met Lisa and Diane from the Carlton Forest Group who have been into school to kindly donate £250 of WHSmiths vouchers to help support our library development. We are so grateful of these community links and generosity; everyone at #TeamRedwood would like to say thank you and we wish you a very Merry Christmas!
Christmas came early to #teamRedwood last week when a local business Express Glazing Supplies bought and donated all of the Christmas decorations and trimmings to ensure that the children have the most magical Christmas.
