Welcome to Saplings!
Our team of passionate Early Years professionals strive for excellence in the Early Years and this is reflected in our indoor and outdoor provision, pedagogy and ethos.
Although Saplings share provision with the Acorns nursery class, there is a also a more formal element to our teacher-led provision in preparation for Key Stage One.
CURRENT CURRICULUM THEME:
Our big question is: Where does snow go?
We are currently exploring a range of Fiction and Non- Fiction texts surrounding the polar regions
Children will gather hands on experiences through looking at the seasons, habitats, and the food cycle of the polar animals. Children will be immersed into what the wider world looks like.

Saplings are also exploring the non-fiction text - Penguins - The National Geographic Kids readers Level 2 by Anne Schreiber to support the development of sentence stacking to use in their writing.
